The first edition of “Greek Fashion and Design Meets Belgium” took place on 9th December 2015 in Brussels. The event was organized by a Discovering Network asbl, a nonprofit association promoting Greek products, design and creativity. The initiative supported a philanthropic cause and aimed to create a platform for cultural and business exchange between Greece and Belgium focused on design and fashion.
The show gathered six designers from Greece and one from Belgium. Greece was represented by Sophia Kokosalaki, Christina Economou, Stefania Fragista, Evi Grintela, Zeus and Dione, and Vassilis Zoulias. Belgium was by the designer Gioia Seghers, an award winning young talent and graduate of La Cambre.
