Photograph Mykonos with the Author of Light From Light

A private Photographic Journey Through the Soul of the Island

Picture
Discover Mykonos beyond the postcards.

For more than 13 years, I have explored and photographed every corner of this extraordinary island, creating one of the most extensive long-term photographic projects dedicated to Mykonos. This journey culminated in the publication of my photography book, Light From Light – A Thousand Days in Mykonos, a visual tribute to the island's ever-changing light, landscapes, and people.
My photography workshops are not conventional tours. They are fully tailor-made experiences, designed around your interests, your photographic level, and the kind of images you wish to create.
Whether you are a beginner discovering photography or an experienced photographer looking to deepen your vision, each workshop is carefully crafted to suit your pace and creative goals.
The experience is ideal for one to three participants, allowing for a highly personal approach and plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout the day.

Half-Day Photography Workshop

A relaxed and inspiring exploration of some of Mykonos' most photogenic locations.
Together we work on:
  • Reading and understanding natural light
  • Composition and visual storytelling
  • Landscape and travel photography
  • Architecture and details
  • Developing your creative eye
  • Practical camera techniques
  • Personal photographic guidance
Every workshop is unique because every photographer is unique.

Full-Day Mykonos Photography Expedition

For those wishing to experience the island in depth, I offer a complete photographic journey across Mykonos.
Travelling together by Jeep, we'll explore the island from coast to coast, following the changing light throughout the day.
Depending on the season and conditions, we may visit:
  • The iconic Armenistis Lighthouse
  • The historic Mykonos mines
  • Hidden beaches and dramatic coastlines
  • Traditional villages
  • Whitewashed chapels
  • Rural landscapes and farms
  • Horses and authentic island life
  • Secret viewpoints known mainly to locals

  • We can pause for lunch at a traditional Greek taverna, enjoy a swim in one of the island's beautiful beaches, and continue photographing through the golden hour, sunset, blue hour, and, if you wish, into the first moments of the night.

Walk Through My Book.

One of the most distinctive aspects of this experience is the opportunity to photograph Mykonos through the pages of my book.
Many of the locations featured in Φως εκ Φωτός become part of our journey. Together we'll revisit the places where the photographs were created, discuss the light, the decisions behind each image, and explore how you can develop your own personal interpretation of the island.
Beyond the WorkshopThis experience is more than a photography tour—it's a private mentorship.
Throughout the day, we discuss not only technique, but also visual storytelling, editing, sequencing, and the creative process behind meaningful photography. We can also review your portfolio and explore ways to strengthen your photographic vision.
I believe photography is a lifelong conversation. The workshop is just the beginning, and I am always happy to stay connected afterwards, offering advice, feedback, and encouragement as your photographic journey continues.

Interested?

Every workshop is individually designed, so no two experiences are ever the same.
If you would like to photograph Mykonos in a meaningful and authentic way, I would be delighted to create a tailor-made experience for you.

Beyond Mykonos — Photographing Greece Through My Eyes

Although Mykonos remains the heart of my long-term photographic journey, my exploration of Greece extends beyond the island.
I also offer tailor-made photography experiences in other remarkable destinations, each with its own unique atmosphere, history, and visual language:

Tinos — an island of authentic villages, marble craftsmanship, hidden pathways, traditional architecture, and a slower rhythm of life.
Delos — a unique journey through ancient history, mythology, and one of the most powerful archaeological landscapes of the Aegean.
Athens — a city where ancient monuments, contemporary life, street photography, and unexpected visual stories meet.
Thessaloniki — a vibrant city of culture, history, architecture, waterfront scenes, and rich photographic contrasts.

Each experience is designed around the same philosophy: discovering a place through light, storytelling, and a photographer’s eye.
Whether on an island, in an ancient landscape, or in a modern city, my goal is always the same—to help you create meaningful images while experiencing the authentic character of Greece.
